Employer Terms

These Employer Terms apply in addition to our general Terms & Conditions when you register a business account and post jobs on RuralMatch Australia.
1. Eligibility & verification
- You must be a registered Australian business or have legal authority to engage workers in Australia.
- You must provide accurate business details, including ABN where applicable.
- We may ask you to verify your business at any time. We may suspend listings if verification fails.
2. Job listings
You agree that every job you post will:
- Be a real, currently open role with your business.
- Comply with the Fair Work Act, modern awards, and minimum-wage requirements.
- Clearly state pay rate, location, and any visa or 88-day eligibility honestly.
- Not discriminate on prohibited grounds (race, gender, age, religion, disability, etc.) except where a genuine occupational requirement applies under law.
- Not solicit money from applicants for any reason (e.g. “training fees”, “visa fees”).
3. Subscriptions, listings & boosts
- 30-day free trial: One trial per business. The trial gives you full access to post and manage listings during the trial period.
- $59 one-off listing: Activates one job credit. The credit is consumed when you post a job. Listings stay live for 30 days unless renewed or removed.
- $39/month self-managed: Unlimited active listings while the subscription is active. Cancelling ends new postings at the end of the billing period.
- $89/month managed: Includes the same self-managed access plus assistance from the RuralMatch team to write, post, and shortlist applicants.
- $20 boosted listing: Boosts a single listing’s visibility for 30 days. Non-refundable once activated.
4. Trial rules
The free trial is available to new employer accounts only. We may detect and remove duplicate accounts created to abuse the trial. If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged. If you keep the subscription, your first payment is automatically taken at the end of the trial.
5. Refunds
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from your billing portal; you will continue to have access until the end of the current billing period. We do not pro-rate refunds. One-off listings and boosts are non-refundable once activated. Refunds are only provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.
6. Worker data
When workers apply to your listing, you receive their application details. You agree to:
- Use applicant data only for assessing the role and making contact about the role.
- Comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
- Not on-sell, share, or store applicant data outside of legitimate hiring purposes.
- Delete applicant data when it is no longer needed.
7. Worker safety
You are responsible for providing a safe workplace, including compliance with Work Health and Safety laws, WorkCover/workers compensation insurance, and any award conditions relating to accommodation and transport. If you offer on-farm accommodation, it must meet relevant standards.
8. Suspension & removal
We may remove listings, suspend your account, or refuse service if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, posted misleading content, or attempted to exploit workers. Where serious breaches are found, we may report the matter to the Fair Work Ombudsman or other authorities.
9. Liability
RuralMatch is not a party to any employment relationship. We do not guarantee applicants or hiring outcomes. You are solely responsible for hiring decisions, contracts, payments, and workplace obligations.
